Hourly + Commission

Overview: Come join our team and help us Build Something Amazing.
Responsibilities: &bull; Partner with hiring managers to develop targeted recruiting plans to address staffing needs. Sources candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline (i.e passive candidate contacts, referral program, social media, career fairs, etc.)<br />&bull; Conduct pre-screen calls, schedule and conduct behavioral-based interviews with candidates using targeted selection interview guides to identify qualified candidates who can successfully align with La-Z-Boy's leadership model and values.<br />&bull; Ownership of all administrative activity within the Applicant Tracking System including field mapping, locations, approvers, users, etc. Analyze and report on key trends, initiatives, competitive activities, and industry best practices to benchmark activities and measure progress.<br />&bull; Ensure proper training of users and full utilization of the software to support the employee life-cycle process from requisition to onboarding.<br />&bull; Identify candidates using internal and external databases/job boards: social media and networking. Act as the point of contact for recruiting agencies when needed. Develop sourcing strategies that support business need and ensure high quality candidate pools.<br />&bull; Review applications for employment, comparing qualifications, experience and predictive index assessments to requirements. Maintain applicant tracking logs to ensure accurate and up to date information for compliance with state and federal employment law.<br />&bull; Develop and maintain relationships with hiring managers and HR business partners to provide regular updates on pipeline development and progress of candidates. Performs reference checks as required.<br />&bull; Ownership of the candidate experience, designs and manages the process to ensure high quality experience aligned to our employee value proposition and employment brand.<br />&bull; Serve as the administrator for the background check and drug screening process for all applicants to ensure proper qualifications are met for employment.<br /><br />SCOPE &amp; IMPACT:<br />This position works regularly with business leaders, HR Managers and external contacts to support recruitment activities for 150+ Company Retail stores. This position will support adding over 300 new hires per year.
Requirements: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:<br />&bull; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in human resources, business or related field with 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent.<br />&bull; Familiar with current employment laws related to recruiting and staffing<br />&bull; Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems<br />&bull; Up to 10% travel.<br /><br />PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:<br />&bull; Full-cycle recruitment experience, experience recruiting in a manufacturing and/or retail environment<br />&bull; Prior Applicant Management System experience (Workday, Oracle, UltiPro, PeopleSoft, SilkRoad, etc).<br /><br />SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None<br /><br />PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:<br />Operates in a professional office environment, not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions. Nearly continuously required to sit, use repetitive hand motion (such as typing), hear / listen, talk, and stand.
