Overview: Come join our team and help us Build Something Amazing.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Supports Recruiters with scheduling complex interviews while providing an excellent candidate experience. Interviews may include phone, on-site and&nbsp; videoconferencing (MS Teams, and Zoom)</li> <li>Will lead recruitment efforts for staffing our customer care department and partner on RDC hourly hiring</li> <li>Conducts pre-screening calls to interview candidates for entry-level professional roles using targeted selection interview techniques to identify qualified candidates who can successfully align with La-Z-Boy's leadership model and values.</li> <li>Partners with hiring and human resources business partners to develop a competitive offer of employment.&nbsp; Create and present selected candidate with offer package.</li> <li>Functions as the main point of contact throughout the on-boarding process for candidates ensuring that all set-up is complete prior to hire including but not limited to Workday system entry, IT Access Set-up, and Security Badge requests.</li> <li>Ownership over delivering a best-in-class candidate experience to candidates in the recruitment, offer, and pre/onboarding stages.</li> <li>Administers and actively monitors candidate background investigations including, tracking of, and reporting on progress, communicating with candidates, and communicating adverse correspondence as necessary. &nbsp;</li> <li>Provide regular updates to hiring managers, HR business partners, Talent Acquisition leaders and other stakeholders as appropriate on pipeline development and progress of candidates</li> <li>Partners with HRBP&rsquo;s and Generalists to maintain and update the new hire orientation calendar for Corporate and RDC&rsquo;s to ensure all stakeholders kept updated on new hire start dates</li> <li>Performs administrative tasks such as billing, metrics reporting, and coordinating travel arrangements for interviews.</li> <li>Special projects as assigned</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>SCOPE &amp; IMPACT:&nbsp;</p> <p>Supports the Talent Acquisition team in the full life-cycle recruitment processes and coordination off all new hires. &nbsp;Leads a successful, positive candidate and stakeholder experience through the pre-boarding and onboarding stages of hire.</p>
