Responsibilities: &bull; Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all planning data used to drive purchases of raw materials and parts through MRP while investigating opportunities for improvements in service, delivery and inventory turns.<br />&bull; Reviews and management of supplier forecasts for material and part planning. Key communication point with the supplier on forecast and ordering&nbsp;issues/discrepancies.<br />&bull; Placing of purchase orders to vendors for materials flowing through the Capital Planning, Design and Construction (CPDC) and other centralized distribution points.<br />&bull; Supports plants to mitigate emergency outages and eliminate disturbances to flow. Includes regular meetings with the supplier to monitor order status and timing.<br />&bull; Manages part/material changes to support the corporate commodity team and R&amp;D through Engineering Changes (ECs) and supplier changes as part of the continuous improvement on cost and quality.<br />&bull; Responsible for managing raw material inventory levels to provide expected service level and meet company inventory metrics<br />&bull; Supports Product Development, CI and Procurement projects as a core team member and/or SME as required<br />&bull; Partners with suppliers to achieve improved performance on cost, delivery, and quality<br />&bull; Provide enhancement suggestions and prioritization for E1 project system changes<br /><br />SCOPE &amp; IMPACT:<br />The Corporate Materials Planner will manage approximately $120M in annual spend and will manage approximately $13 million in inventory on hand. They are responsible for the inventory turns and forecasting as driven by E1 and the planning data. There are no direct reports for this position. (Hybrid)
Requirements: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:<br />&bull; Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree Supply Chain or related field with 4-6 years of relevant experience including 1-3 years of&nbsp;supervisory/leadership&nbsp;experience, or equivalent.<br />&bull; Microsoft Office Suite<br />&bull; MRP/ERP experience<br />&bull; Up to 25% travel.<br /><br />PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:<br />&bull; Master&rsquo;s Degree<br />&bull; E1 system competency<br />&bull; APICS<br /><br />SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None<br /><br />PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:<br />Office environment / no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands.
