Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Collaborates cross functionally to develop, review and adjust demand projections through an established process and cadence.&nbsp; Provides the executive team with demand updates through "post" market reviews and the monthly S&amp;OP meeting.&nbsp; Develops and presents demand assumption scenarios and projected financial and service outcomes to the executive team in the monthly S&amp;OP meeting.</li> <li>Responsible for managing the inventory dollars invested in all materials and finished goods.&nbsp; Responsible for managing the cover and parts life cycle process to identify, track and report cover and parts inventory by risk categories. Creates and maintains tools to support forecasting of division inventory levels by classes.&nbsp; Presents to the executive team in the monthly S&amp;OP meeting, identifying potential inventory obsolescence risks and options to minimize.&nbsp; Drives continuous improvement projects to increase inventory turns without negative impacts to customer services.</li> <li>Reviews and analyzes monthly product sales to identify trends and shifts.&nbsp; Develops a weekly demand plan for all product categories at all plants.&nbsp; Collaborates with master planning team to identify product categories and styles to include in each plants production portfolio.&nbsp;</li> <li>Oversees the development of the monthly RDC inbound/outbound unit forecast and inventory projections.&nbsp; Collaborates with the RDC management team to communicate changes and confirm capacity availability.&nbsp;</li> <li>Provides leadership to the team through consistent feedback, coaching and development to assure that each team member has access to all resources needed to be successful in the organization.</li> <li>Promotes a culture of continuous improvement that yields improvement in key metrics (forecast accuracy, forecast bias, inventory turns, speed to customer, and RDC fill rates).</li> <li>Directs the development of a balanced cover procurement plan of fabric roll purchases for internal cut/sew operations and fabric pre-sewn set purchases that maximize internal production and support commitments to external cut/sew suppliers while meeting company cost and inventory objectives.&nbsp; Responsible for developing and presenting the cost and inventory metrics related to planning scenarios for approval.</li> <li>Responsible for modeling the monthly total Residential inventory forecast through the AOP horizon.</li> <li>Responsible for managing the configuration and data integrity of the supply chain planning system for demand and inventory planning.</li> <li>Develops relationships with sales, merchandising and marketing that provide consistent and meaningful two-way communication that enables the demand planning team to establish the most accurate forecasts.</li> <li>Collaborates with the Retail Division to identify retail strategy and merchandising changes and integrate into the overall demand plan and production plan.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>SCOPE &amp; IMPACT:&nbsp;</p> <p>Responsible for all demand and replenishment planning processes to support a $1.5B to $2.0B La-Z-Boy revenue plan and the associated inventory investment of $100M to $120M.&nbsp; Responsible for positioning inventory to support customer service goals for on-time delivery and order to ship lead-times.&nbsp; Responsible for delivering best in class inventory turns while meeting customer service goals.</p>
Requirements: <p><strong>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field with 10+ years of relevant work experience</li> <li>5+ years of supervisory/leadership experience</li> <li>Proven leadership experience partnering with the business to develop and execute operational plans</li> <li>Effective communication skills - including verbal, written, and presentation</li> <li>Travel Required: 10%</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p>&middot;MBA or Master&rsquo;s in Supply Chain Management</p> <ul> <li>APICS CPIM</li> <li>Proficiency in: Oracle/JDE E1, Business Objects/Intellect, Excel, PowerPoint</li> <li>Experience in a multi-site Supply Chain organization, ideally for a major corporation in a process related industry such as furniture production.</li> <li>STRONG analytical capability/understanding of end-to-end supply chain.</li> <li>Deep understanding of supply chain technology/tools.</li> </ul>
