Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Plans, manages, and coordinates Furniture Galleries and Branded Space projects (new and remodel and special projects) schedule, work quality and timely completion of deliverables; update forecasting milestones as necessary, providing updates to key internal and external stakeholder.</li> <li>Compiles all necessary information based on independent Furniture Galleries store and Branded Space project Scope of Work for complete project execution by design team.</li> <li>For dealer stores this entails collection of project kick-off requirements, executing project kick-off meetings, preparation of store conceptual layout meeting the company&rsquo;s standards. For Branded Space projects this entails collection of project requirements, executing project review, preparation of store documentation and drawings meeting the company&rsquo; standards</li> <li>Performs construction punch-list site visits for dealer FG store projects (and Branded Space projects as necessary) to assess project status and adherence to plans and LZB standards.</li> <li>Responsible for issue identification, escalation to management as well as report out of such issues and their resolution</li> <li>Oversees vendor quotes to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of purchased items.</li> <li>Complete project closeout reporting for key stakeholders and other team members.</li> <li>Lead the coordination and administration of project kickoff meetings and weekly project status meetings.</li> </ul> <p>SCOPE &amp; IMPACT:&nbsp;</p> <p>Oversees the project management for the design and construction for the entire network of independently owned Furniture Galleries as well as the network of Branded Space projects comprised of International Retail locations, the network of 568 Comfort Studios and 1532 National Account and General Dealer locations.&nbsp; The results of work done in this role have direct impact on project cost requiring keen attention to details and potential issues due to the financial implications of missed sales to both dealers and LZB if deadlines are missed, errors made. Additional impact to the overall sales for locations may be impacted based upon delays or issues. The Furniture Galleries network represents @ $675 million in sales and the US based Branded Space represents @ $543 million in sales. Completion thereof supports company and dealer growth and sales initiatives.&nbsp;</p>
Requirements: <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field with 4-6 years of relevant experience</li> <li>Competency in planning and tracking</li> <li>Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment</li> <li>independent</li> <li>Ability to support multiple projects, prioritize competing demands and apply risk mitigation to get back on track require.</li> <li>Successful project management skills</li> <li>Excellent organization, follow through, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Strong negotiation skills.</li> <li>Strong ability to tailor communications style to multiple audiences</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office</li> <li>Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)</li> <li>AutoCAD</li> <li>Travel:&nbsp; Up to 25%</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:&nbsp;</p> <p>&bull;&nbsp; Microsoft Project (or similar software)</p> <p>&bull;&nbsp; Familiarity with construction costing</p>
