Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Provides strategic HR leadership to business leaders with the Corporate Office (Finance &amp; Accounting, Information Technology, Legal, Commercial, HR) by proactively identifying issues and opportunities within their teams and taking action, driving initiatives and executing plans.</li> <li>Participate in a wide variety of HR initiatives and projects across multiple HR disciplines, including performance management, culture building, change management, diversity and inclusion, safety leadership and governance and compliance.</li> <li>Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line managers and ensure consistent execution of the performance management process.</li> <li>Coach and guide managers through complex employee relations issues and conducting thorough and objective investigations as needed.</li> <li>Work closely with leadership and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and engagement, ensure leadership and employees have a direct and productive working relationship including open communications and problem solving</li> <li>Work closely with other HR functional heads (Total Rewards, Talent Management, Safety/Health, and HR Technology) in furthering the HR agenda and integrating company goals and strategies.&nbsp;</li> <li>Continually benchmark external regulatory trends and leading practices in Human Resources and inspire a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.</li> <li>Lead the talent management strategy for LZB HQ including developing robust succession planning/talent management, developing internal talent, and supporting the recruiting strategy to ensure we have the right people at the right time</li> <li>Facilitate new hire onboarding and new leader assimilation for key roles.</li> <li>Core understanding of the business, key business priorities and the external competitive environment</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>SCOPE &amp; IMPACT:&nbsp;</p> <p>This position is responsible for all HR activities at the La-Z-Boy Corporate office in Monroe, MI. Serves as a consultant to leadership on human resource-related issues.&nbsp; Responsible for driving and supporting change in the organization.&nbsp; Acts as an employee advocate for all employees.&nbsp;</p>
