Overview: <br />The Commercial IT Manager collaborates with business executives and stakeholders to understand technology needs and business strategy. Maintains technology to ensure systems are stable, operational and secure. Leads, coaches and directs technology and project teams as well as leads new technology initiatives to ensure business needs are being achieved.
Responsibilities: &bull; Lead direct reports, providing coaching and development and ensuring objectives are aligned with strategic goals and business initiatives.<br />&bull; Ensure area projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget and executed based on defined project management.<br />&bull; Collaborate with business executives, business stakeholders, IT Leaders and other IT functions to ensure technology(ies) needs are acceptable, successful and align cross functions.<br />&bull; Responsible for managing third party vendor relationships and ensures vendor performance meets company deliverables<br />&bull; Responsible to maintain technology, ensuring systems are stable to support business operations.<br />&bull; Work with team to minimize and negate disruption to the business.<br />&bull; Manage and adhere to IT Service Level Agreements (SLA) through scorecard reporting and data analysis.<br />&bull; Assists in creating IT standards, policies and procedures.<br />&bull; Responsible for ensuring employees are compliant with defined IT standards, policies, and processes.<br />&bull; Establish and manage relationships with stakeholders by attending meetings, establishing a cadence of communication, and meeting commitments.<br />&bull; Understands business and strategic initiatives and provides innovative solutions that add value to the current and future business.<br />&bull; Leverages emerging technologies and industry best practices to ensure optimum support of technologies.<br />&bull; Creates and executes roadmap for new technologies while ensuring existing environment is current.<br /><br /><strong>SCOPE &amp; IMPACT:</strong><br />This position is responsible to ensure maintenance and operation of systems and supporting technologies for the Commercial business responsible for wholesale pricing and order processing for Residential, International, and non-Branded business representing approximately $1 billion in transactions annually, Ecommerce to include La-Z-Boy.com representing $10 million (and increasing) in online transactions annually, and Pricebook. This position will be held accountable to performance metrics, allocated budgets for projects, and program delivery excellence.
Requirements: <strong>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</strong><br /><strong>&bull;</strong>&nbsp;Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Information Technology or related field with 6 - 8 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.<br />&bull; 3 - 5 years supervisory/leadership experience<br />&bull; Project management experience<br />&bull; Up to 10% travel.<br /><br /><strong>PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:</strong><br />&bull; 3 - 5 years experience managing eCommerce initiatives and technology platform, strongly preferred<br />&bull; Prior history in working with vendors to complete projects and managing third party software development, strongly preferred<br />&bull; Management of teams using a System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes and tools (E.g. - Service Now, Bug tracker, SVN<br />&bull; Management of teams using a System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes (Agile &amp; waterfall) and tools (Source repository, bug tracking, testing, etc.)<br />&bull; Management of teams using support/incident tracking tools (E.g. - Service Now)<br />&bull; Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification<br />&bull; Knowledge of e-commerce platform: Oracle ATG web commerce<br /><br /><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong>&nbsp;May have between 1-3 direct reports, both employees and contracted resources.<br /><br /><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:</strong><br />Office environment / no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands.<br /><br /><strong>CORE ATTRIBUTES:</strong><br />Communicate Transparently<br />Lead the Team<br />Impact and Influence<br />Deliver Results<br />Coach and Develop<br /><br /><strong>OTHER DUTIES</strong>: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the incumbent for this job.
