Overview: <p><strong>La-Z-Boy World Headquarters is searching for Customer Service Superstars for the call center!&nbsp;</strong><strong><br /><br /></strong></p> <p>Starting pay is&nbsp;<strong>$13.00</strong>&nbsp;per hour; overtime may be available based on call volumes.<br /><br />Customer Service Representatives receive and respond to customer calls regarding La-Z-Boy products and services in a high-volume call environment. Working within established guidelines will deliver superior customer service in a respectful, courteous, and timely manner to ensure customer&rsquo;s concerns are addressed through to resolution.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Successfully complete training to become knowledgeable of La-Z-Boy as well as products, services, and procedures.</li> <li>Serves as the first point of contact to the customer and responds professionally and courteously to general and routine customer inquiries. Inquiries and complaints may be via telephone, email, social media, and postal mail.</li> <li>Ensures customer&rsquo;s concerns are understood and explains resolution clearly to the customer.</li> <li>Effectively diffuses difficult customers to successfully communicate and develop a solution, escalating problems or decisions to appropriate individuals based on established guidelines&nbsp;</li> <li>May initiate outbound call to follow-up on general and routine customer calls.</li> <li>Logs and records information about customer support interactions</li> <li>Order service parts for customers when needed to provide resolutions</li> <li>Authorizes and performs production order maintenance as appropriate</li> <li>Authorizes merchandise discounts when appropriate</li> <li>Enters service and product data into computer for billing, delivery, scheduling, and tracking purposes.</li> <li>Receives and reviews metric reports and action plans with the Customer Service Supervisor to understand individual performance, impact, and opportunities for development.</li> <li>Receives and relays customer feedback about services and products, for continual process improvement.</li> <li>Performs other job-related duties as assigned</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent with 0-2 years of relevant experience with 1 or more years of customer service experience providing high volume phone-based service</li> <li>Ability to provide customer support respectfully and professionally</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills</li> <li>Strong listening skills with ability to maintain balance between empathy and guidelines</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and Word</li> <li>Must be able to multi-task and work in a team environment</li> <li>Ability to assist others to interpret policies and warranties, reach and interpret documents such as schematics</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;<strong>PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Associates Degree</li> </ul> <p><br /><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong>&nbsp;None</p>
