Overview: Responsible for identifying and documenting business needs, to include understanding their structure, processes, and operations, and interpreting their rules, requirements, and workflows to help the business achieve their goals and resolve business challenges via information technology solutions. This role acts as a liaison between the business and technology functions of the company.
Responsibilities: &bull; Perform requirements gathering, analysis, and management by engaging and leading stakeholders in developing functional and non-functional business and use case requirements.<br />&bull; Work with the technical development team, quality assurance teams, third party Integration vendors and Infrastructure/security team to validate enhancements, write test cases and perform quality assurance testing (QA), user acceptance testing.(UAT)<br />&bull; Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key business partners and IT outsourcer partners.<br />&bull; Support production environment by resolving production incidents and providing day to day support and education to system business users<br />&bull; Define the designs, configuration, testing, training, deployment and support of strategic projects utilizing the defined software development life cycle (SDLC) and Project Management Methodology (PMM).<br />&bull; Identify and recommend areas of process improvements by analyzing industry and company best practicesActs as liaison between departmental end-users, outside vendors, suppliers and IT. Enhance current system functionality by facilitating business requests and assessing, defining and documenting solution recommendations.<br />&bull; Ensure proper configuration management is followed for IT systems.<br />&bull; Mentor, provide guidance, direction, and ensure quality of work of Business Analyst I, II, and III's.<br /><br /><strong>SCOPE &amp; IMPACT:</strong><br />Collaborates with business stakeholder and project owners to create new or improve on business solutions. This role supports multiple internal and external systems and technologies. Responsibilities include support of functional areas across multiple disciplines, and divisions. This role will primarily focus on eCommerce initiatives.
