Responsibilities: &bull; Processes payroll for Factory and Admin groups as assigned on a weekly and bi-weekly basis using the Lawson and Kronos systems, including payroll changes and adjustments as needed for an accurate payroll.<br />&bull; Daily entry of Incentive Pay (IP) timecards, in addition to performing close review for accuracy, reasonableness and consistency<br />&bull; Processes special compensation such as bonuses, relocation, personal time, retroactive pay, stock options/dividends as they relate to assigned process levels.<br />&bull; Provides support to employees in assigned process levels as it relates to questions regarding amounts paid to employees.<br />&bull; Assists the Corporate payroll group as it relates to ad-hoc reporting requests, research for GL account reconciliations, and other miscellaneous tasks<br />&bull; Assists with garnishments, disability payments, and other exceptions<br />&bull; Maintain a high level of security and confidentiality of sensitive information<br /><br />SCOPE &amp; IMPACT:<br />Responsible for providing accurate payroll for 1500 + Employees, across 2 Manufacturing plants and 2 states.
Requirements: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:<br />&bull; High school diploma with 0 &ndash; 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent.<br />&bull; Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access<br />&bull; Work independently with the ability to provide status of tasks on a regular basis and recognize unusual situations/requests before proceeding.<br />&bull; Strong organizational skills.<br />&bull; Strong written and verbal communication skills.<br /><br />PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:<br />&bull; Associates degree<br />&bull; Certified Payroll Professional<br /><br />SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: none<br /><br />PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:<br />Office environment/no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands.<br /><br />CORE ATTRIBUTES:<br />Communicate Transparently<br />Lead the Team<br />Impact and Influence<br />Deliver Results<br />Coach and Develop<br /><br />OTHER DUTIES: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the incumbent for this job.
