Responsibilities: &bull; Receives all part requirements form various R&amp;D resources and enters them into the internal or external ordering system.<br />&bull; Conducts inventory audits and replenishes kanban areas as needed.<br />&bull; Reconciles all receipt of parts to order forms for accuracy and delivers them to the appropriate personnel.<br />&bull; Maintains the inventory levels of a secure tool and manufacturing machinery parts crib.<br />&bull; Manages the scheduling and receiving of all incoming and outgoing shipments for the R&amp;D facility.<br />&bull; Actively leads 5-S activities in all inventory storage areas.<br />&bull; Assist in the build of physical prototype units as required.<br /><br />SCOPE &amp; IMPACT: The R&amp;D inventory specialist is a key player in keeping all of the R&amp;D projects on track for timely delivery. The coordination of ordering internal and external parts and delivering them to the proper team or process area is paramount. Timely delivery dates and having these components on hand keep all of the R&amp;D teams focused on their projects without experiencing any parts outage delays.
Requirements: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:<br />&bull; High School Diploma or GED with 2-4 years of relevant work experience or equivalent &bull; Up to 10% Travel Required<br /><br />PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: none SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: none PHYSICAL<br /><br />DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: Often sits, has repetitive hand motion, listen, talks, stands, walks, and requires balance. Seldom bends, stoops, climbs ladders, kneels squats, reaches overhead, pulls, pushes, and lifts over 50 lbs. Not required to crawl, shovel or crouch. Operates in a professional office environment that uses standard office equipment at times. Subject to noise, a variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving parts, vehicles, electrical current, high places and exposure to heat and or chemicals at times.
