Overview: <p>The Maintenance Technician provides general repair and services to production and facilities equipment.&nbsp; This includes general electrical, pneumatic and/or hydraulic repair to furniture production equipment&nbsp;as well as reactive and preventative maintenance and interior/exterior facilities repair&nbsp;and safety maintenance.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
Responsibilities: <p>Tests electronic equipment, components and circuits using instruments such as oscilloscope, ammeter, and voltmeters.</p> <p>Metal finishing, Electrode position Painting Process, Wire Forming, Robotic Welding, (specifically Motoman brand) and Revit assembly, press operation from 45-300 tons.</p> <p>Install and operate transmitters and other electronic components for data acquisition and control.&nbsp;</p> <p>Apply electronic theory, principles, and testing procedures to trouble shoot, modify electronic equipment.</p> <p>Trouble shoots programmable logic controls. (Allen Bradly and other foreign and domestic units).&nbsp;</p> <p>Experience in control valves, positioners and their principles.</p> <p>Respond to reactive and preventive&nbsp;work orders as required in compliance to OSHA and EPA safety requirements.</p> <p>Repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.</p> <p>Work from diagrams, drawings, layouts, or specifications in leading daily activities and product / process improvements.</p> <p>Assures all work follows documented instructions in manuals and procedures in solving machine issues.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Run electrical services to machinery or equipment.</p> <p>Operate meters, amp probes, and other electrical diagnostic equipment.</p> <p>Monitor all equipment&nbsp;for proper operation and provide feedback on any repairs or adjustments.</p> <p>Document all completed work orders in log books and in CMMS database.</p> <p>Maintain a clean work environment according to 5S manner.</p> <p>Operate fork lifts, tow motors, and scissor lift.</p> <p>Reports unresolved issues to supervision.</p> <p>Work overtime as required.<br /><br />SCOPE &amp; IMPACT: <br />This position will increase the abilities of the maintenance department to increase production uptime, lower maintenance costs, and produce higher quality parts.</p>
Requirements: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:<br /><br />Education/Experience:<br />High school diploma or GED; Completion of trade school certification in related field; Five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. <br /><br />TECHNICAL:<br /><br />Must be trained in ARC Flash guidelines. Must have a working knowledge of machine shop equipment and welding equipment. Must demonstrate ability to tests electronic equipment, components and circuits using instruments such as oscilloscope, ammeter and voltmeters. Must demonstrate ability to operate meters, amp probes and other electrical diagnostic equipment. Must demonstrate experience in installing and operating transmitters and other electronic components for data acquisition and control. Must be able to work from diagrams, drawings, layouts and/or specifications as well as leading daily activities and product/process improvements. Must possess a working knowledge of electrical schematics and have the ability to repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. Must possess a strong background in electronic controls, VFD&rsquo;s and over controls (or Andover controls?). Must possess the ability to work unsupervised, combined with multitasking and follow through.<br /><br /><br />ANALYTICS:<br />Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.<br /><br />REASONING:<br />Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.<br /><br />TECHNOLOGY:<br />To perform this job successfully, an individual should have operational knowledge of essential computer programs, which included Microsoft Office Word and Excel and E-1.<br /><br /><br />COMMUNICATION:<br />Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals.
