Overview: This position supports the Maintenance department by managing Incoming Work Orders, creating Purchase Order Requisitions, supporting the Computerized Asset Management (CAM) module of the ERP System.
Responsibilities: &bull; Manage Work Order queue by entering incoming requests on a regular basis and adjusting status, as necessary within the CMMS to meet the customer needs.<br />&bull; Review the work request for accuracy, completeness and a clear description.<br />&bull; Attend the Daily Approval Meeting to review all new work requests and help establish realistic priorities, need dates and resource assignments.<br />&bull; Create emergency work orders and assign to technicians.<br />&bull; Print and install required labeling on equipment and machinery in the field.<br />&bull; Coordinate with Accounting on installation of asset tags on equipment and machinery.<br />&bull; Maintain and install maintenance related Visual Work Instructions (VSWI&rsquo;s) as necessary for equipment and machinery.<br />&bull; Coordinate radio communication to support the supervisor, expedite service to the customer and provide field support for technicians.<br />&bull; Accurately input data for parts requisitioning according to E-1 standards<br />&bull; Support the maintenance technicians in the location of parts during central stores off hours<br />&bull; Scan parts out of central store to maintain an accurate inventory<br />&bull; Coordinate with planner to track parts ordered and stage for work kits being built for work technicians<br />&bull; Be able to source equipment parts from manuals for requisition or issue to work orders<br />&bull; Coordinate with Central Stores to return excess items from field work to inventory
