Overview: Unload, receive, put away, pick, load, and ship items delivered from suppliers and ship to LZB production facilities. Coordinate trailer movement to prioritize loads/shipments. Load outbound shipments to not exceed DOT weight regulations.
Responsibilities: &bull; Use a scanner and/or tablet to transfer parts during receiving/shipping process, perform inventory inquiries, perform maintenance counts as needed<br />&bull; Operate a forklift, tugger, turret or other materials handling equipment to move / load parts as needed.<br />&bull; Ensure material is wrapped, stacked, and protected for shipments as needed.<br />&bull; Communicate with yard drivers via radio for trailer movement.<br />&bull; Reconciles all data that E1 system will not accept.<br />&bull; General processing and reconciliation of ship data in E1.<br />&bull; Create E1 shipment labels and place on pallets before loading<br />&bull; Maintains documentation and process for tracking data.<br />&bull; Maintain accurate log of trailer arrivals to include the carrier name, trailer number, date, location and disposition<br />&bull; Provides information to supply centers when expedites are required.<br />&bull; Generally assists supervisor with other needs as necessary
Requirements: <strong>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</strong><br />&bull; High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.<br />&bull; Requires basic keyboarding skills and knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.<br />&bull; Basic knowledge of Google Suite Gmail and Google Sheets<br /><br /><strong>PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:</strong><br />&bull; Certificate/License and/or equivalent experience with Forklift, Tugger, Turret and Parts Picker<br />&bull; Experience with JD Edwards (E1) or other warehouse management systems preferred.<br /><br /><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong>: NONE<br /><br /><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT</strong>:<br />&bull; The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
