Overview: <p>This position will assume responsibility for retention and revenue enhancement of a predetermined group of existing clients. &nbsp;This will be accomplished through relationship building at strategic levels within client organizations, and integration between Loomis Express and the client, ensuring maximum client satisfaction. Strategic new business development, within the territory and within revenue and pricing guidelines, is also part of this portfolio. Adherence to activity performance standards, profitable revenue growth with lane and product sales, profit enhancement, and increased market share are key bench marks of success.&nbsp; This position may have working hours reflective of the geography of the territory.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Creatively assist clients or prospects to solve their logistical challenges by utilizing consultative and solution selling techniques.</li> <li>Prospect for new clients and generate leads within a defined territory.</li> <li>Execute effective sales processes and account management plans to develop new business and retain existing clients.</li> <li>Develop an expertise in the courier market.</li> <li>Manage a sales pipeline to ensure quota attainment.</li> <li>Qualify leads and collaborate with Field Sales team when required.</li> <li>Develop &amp; present pricing and service proposals that are within Company established parameters.</li> <li>Participate in solution design, costing and pricing processes.</li> <li>Act as the liaison between client and company resources. Engage appropriate personnel as required.</li> <li>Understand and leverage Company resources to create value propositions and solutions.</li> <li>Investigate and report on local competitive activity and market conditions.</li> </ul> <br />
Requirements: <ul> <li>1 - 2 years sales success in a service industry, (courier and/or supply chain management knowledge preferred).</li> <li>Demonstrated ability in selling value.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal communication &amp; probing skills, high aptitude for follow-up.</li> <li>Strong business acumen), analysis and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>CRM software proficiency.</li> <li>Demonstrated drive, persistence &amp; initiative.</li> <li>Proven planning, organizational, time and management skills.</li> <li>Client service orientation.</li> <li>Demonstrated presentation skills.</li> <li>Proficiency in MS Office.</li> <li>University or college degree preferred.</li> <li>Bilingual (essential in Quebec)</li> </ul>
