Coordinator

Overview: The Outreach Coordinator functions as an advocate within the non-emergency medical transportation system for patients and healthcare facility personnel by providing in-service training to facilities on how to use NET services effectively and to promote positive relationships by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Responsible for providing community based outreach and education activity</li> <li>Develops on-going relationships with facilities through face to face meetings, phone calls and group presentations</li> <li>Maintains positive relationships with facilities</li> <li>Provides in-service training to facilities on how to use NET services effectively</li> <li>Travel to healthcare facilities as required</li> <li>Provides post-meeting follow up/communication to healthcare facilities and Logisticare departments accordingly</li> <li>Maintains open lines of communication</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED required</li> <li>Associate degree preferred</li> </ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Experience interacting with health plans and healthcare facicities strongly preferred</li> <li>Three years relevant work experience strongly preferred</li> <li>At least one year experience as an outreach or provider relations representative strongly preferred</li> </ul> <p>Skills &amp; Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint</li> <li>Familiar with all Internet Engines</li> </ul> <p>Competency Statement(s)</p> <ul> <li>Analytical Skills - Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem</li> <li>Communication, Oral - Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word</li> <li>Communication, Written - Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely</li> <li>Customer Oriented - Ability to take care of the customers' needs while following company procedures</li> <li>Decision Making - Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures</li> <li>Interpersonal - Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals</li> <li>Problem Solving -- Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems</li> <li>Relationship Building - Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers</li> <li>Working Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations</li> </ul>
