Overview: The Quality Assurance (QA) Lead is responsible for ensuring that the QA Representatives maintain positive and effective working relationships with customers, providers and agencies to establish superior customer service to reduce the number of official complaints.
Responsibilities: <ul><li> Maintains open lines of communications with subordinates, other company representatives, facilities, transportation providers and local and state authorities </li><li> Oversees the complaint process and handles any escalated calls </li><li> Records and initiates investigation of complaints </li><li> Initiates corrective actions </li><li> Collects and monitors driver and provider compliance information </li><li> Sends out notices when updates are due </li><li> Manages the denial and appeal process </li><li> Creates and disseminates exceptional distance report </li><li> Perform occasional vehicle inspections </li><li> Performs other duties as assigned Education: </li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li> have a high school degree or GED; some college preferred Experience: </li><li> Requires 2+ years customer service experience preferably in a medical environment </li><li> 1 year demonstrated experiencing leading a staff is a plus </li><li> Prior front office medical experience, medical case management and/or medical social work experience a plus Skills: </li><li> Excellent customer service and phone skills </li><li> Strong verbal communications, problem solving, time management and organizational skills </li><li> Must be able to handle heavy phone volume </li><li> Ability to quickly learn new technology </li><li> Ability to accurately type 35+ corrected words wpm </li><li> Read and write English fluently </li><li> Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and must be able to learn and acquire proficiency in LogistiCare's proprietary software application(s) </li><li> Ability to work independently or with a team a must </li><li> Bi-lingual a plus Competencies: </li><li> Accurate - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly </li><li> Communication, Oral - Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word </li><li> Communication, Written - Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely </li><li> Customer Oriented - Ability to take care of the customers' needs while following company procedures </li><li> Interpersonal - Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals </li><li> Leadership -- Ability to influence others to perform their jobs effectively and to be responsible for making decisions </li><li> Patience - Ability to act calmly under stress and strain, and of not being hasty or impetuous </li><li> Reliability - The trait of being dependable and trustworthy Environmental and Working Conditions: </li><li> Entire work time is conducted in an office setting Physical and Mental Requirements: </li><li> Must be able to understand and follow complex instructions LogistiCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer. </li></ul>
