<p>We need a new Inventory Control Manager to join and lead the team at our Durham warehouse. Reporting to the Senior Inventory Control Manager, this is an opportunity to play a key role in streamlining the Inventory Control function, and helping us take it to the next level. This is a role for an experienced Inventory Control Manager that wants to be involved in real change and loves Tim Horton&rsquo;s (we have a brand new one onsite!).</p>

Operations are based out of a 1.2 million square foot distribution centre, based in Ajax ON Canada, where it serves Loblaws, our sole customer. Responsibilities: <p><strong>As our new Inventory Control Manager, you will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Take ownership. You will monitor, measure, and report inventory accuracy. &nbsp;You will be responsible for the integrity of warehouse inventory.</li> <li>Lead the team. You will plan, organize and direct the work of others. You will support the floor staff, troubleshooting issues, accurately analyzing situations and adopting an effective course of action.</li> <li>Report. You will analyze inventory data and report results including a breakdown of financial implications to determine root cause.</li> <li>Build internal and external relationships. You will promote open, friendly communications and positive relationships with:</li> <li>Customers. You will monitor retail claims and support client relationships for 300+ stores.</li> <li>Leadership. You will communicate potential issues and concerns promptly.</li> <li>Operators. You will assist with interviewing, training and career planning. You will conduct performance evaluations and support their needs in the workplace.</li> <li>Drive continuous improvements. You will monitor operator quality and implement accuracy improvement programs. You will: <ul> <li>Analyze site metrics tied to both budget and operational area/division</li> <li>Assess the movement of inventory and implement control procedures, to assure the maintenance of our systems and accuracy of inventory levels.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Evaluate the workplace. You will actively participate in Health and Safety initiatives to ensure a safe working environment.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>So, how do we know that&rsquo;s you? You have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Direct experience. 5+ years in a large Distribution Centre within a multi SKU environment with 2+ years managing a team of Inventory Control supervisors and hourly employees.</li> <li>Leadership skills. A positive attitude, decision making and the ability to maintain a sense of urgency.</li> <li>Communication skills. An approachable personality and a customer-first focus.</li> <li>Technical skills. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Windows with strong inventory control, SAP preferred.</li> <li>Knowledge.
