Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Perform energy audits at industrial manufacturing facilities.</li> <li>Identify and quantify energy uses within a site and their energy reduction opportunities.</li> <li>Calculate energy savings for energy conservation projects and return on investment calculations for energy conservation measures.</li> <li>Prepare and implement measurement and verification (M&amp;V) plans for energy conservation projects installed by others and prepare summary reports on the findings.</li> <li>Perform data analysis using logger software, energy modelling software, and Excel based energy calculation tools.</li> <li>Write detailed reports summarizing energy reduction opportunities, measure costs, and simple payback.</li> <li>Lead or participate in project update meetings and formally present M&amp;V results or energy opportunities to key stakeholders.</li> <li>Train client&rsquo;s personnel on topics such as energy management.</li> <li>Collaborate with other focus areas within Facility Engineering Division including Water/Wastewater, and mechanical, electrical, and Plumbing (MEP).</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering, science, or a technical field.</li> <li>2-5 years experience working with energy use systems and energy reduction.</li> <li>Working knowledge of the Program Savings Documents and Technical Resource Manuals for Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft 365 software including Excel, with demonstrated experience with Pivot tables and advanced formulas preferred.</li> <li>Energy Certifications from the Association of Energy Engineers, Building Performance Institute, or similar; Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Energy Manager in Training (EMIT) certification is preferred.</li> <li>Previous experience performing energy work in an industrial and manufacturing setting is preferred.</li> </ul> <br /> <p>Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc.
