Overview: Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc. (Loureiro) has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant to join our team in our Plainville, CT Office. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Answers a multi-line phone and directs calls.</li> <li>Assists with routine aspects of transactional processes.</li> <li>May prepare various documents consistent with the style of the firm.</li> <li>Format and edit letters, reports, and other correspondence.</li> <li>Coordinate and make arrangements for conferences, meetings, and events.</li> <li>Receives, sorts and delivers mail to employees and managers.</li> <li>Inputs and maintains data on various Company and/or Microsoft software.</li> <li>Works safely and abides by the firm&rsquo;s policies and procedures.</li> <li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <br />
Requirements: <ul> <li>High School diploma required. Some college-level coursework preferred.&nbsp;</li> <li>Working knowledge of office practices and procedures and the operation of standard office equipment.</li> <li>1 &ndash; 3 years' related experience in a similar position.</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.</li> <li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li> <li>Experience in inventorying and supply requisition.</li> <li>Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.</li> <li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.</li> <li>Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li> <li>Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.</li> <li>Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.</li> <li>Able to push, pull, and place materials on level surfaces and overhead cabinets.</li> </ul> <br /> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc.
