Overview: <p>Loureiro Building Construction, LLC&nbsp;is a contractor with a broad range of experience in design/build, general contracting, and construction management firm that can self-perform in all market sectors. Our in-house capabilities include site work, concrete, carpentry, and select finish trades.</p> <p>We are searching for a&nbsp;<strong>Field&nbsp;Superintendent&nbsp;</strong>for projects out of our Portsmouth, NH office. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Take a strategic role in preconstruction, constructability reviews and risk assessments.</li> <li>Proactively identify and strategically solve problems with minimal executive oversight.</li> <li>Maintain compliance with construction codes, and safety and government regulations.</li> <li>Uphold the project schedule and support the control of costs; and report overall status to stakeholders.</li> <li>Direct a diverse group of internal and external team members, including subcontractors, and provide liaison between field engineering and laborers/craft workers to ensure construction complies with drawings and specifications.</li> <li>Build strong relationships with clients/owners, subcontractors and inspection authorities.</li> <li>Ensure all onsite operations are conducted safely, on-time, on-budget and to our quality standards.</li> <li>Direct all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.</li> <li>Help prepare work schedule, determine manpower requirements, material quantities, equipment needs, and supervise completion of final punch list.</li> <li>Promote job site safety and encourage safe work practices.</li> <li>Monitor work performance and productivity to ensure project compliance with specifications, procedures, quality, and safety requirements.</li> <li>Advise Project Managers/Executives of potential problems, work interference, and schedule difficulties; assist in resolving problems as required.</li> <li>Conduct daily walkthrough of the project site(s) ensuring work is being accomplished safely and occupational health is not compromised.</li> <li>Attend and participate in all preparatory and initial quality control phase meetings.</li> <li>Produce a Daily Safety Report of activities performed, and other daily reports as assigned.</li> <li>Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, co-workers, supervisors, and management.</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <div> <ul> <li>Associate degree or equivalent experience in construction management/related field.</li> <li>7+ years of experience managing onsite construction operations.</li> <li>Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders.</li> <li>Must be a self-starter, hands-on, highly motivated individual with the ability to work with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Ability to quickly learn various policies, procedures and software programs.</li> <li>Ability to identify and resolve problems as they arise.</li> <li>Proactive and driven to achieve results to get the job done right.</li> <li>Strong organizational skills to keep projects on schedule and on track.</li> <li>Strong integrity and relationship-building skills.</li> </ul> <br /> <div><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong> <ul> <li>Ability to perform tasks that require flexibility such as bending, kneeling, climbing, or reaching.</li> <li>Excellent agility to safely navigate construction sites, including uneven surfaces, heights, and potential hazards.</li> <li>Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting and moving up to 100 pounds.</li> <li>Proficient in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.</li> <li>Ability to adapt to adverse weather conditions and exposure to loud noises.</li> </ul> <br /> <div> <p>We are passionate about solving our clients&rsquo; problems and dedicated to providing them with exceptional service.
