Overview: Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc. has an immediate need for a Project Technician to support the Industrial Wastewater Services in our Plainville, Connecticut Office.<br /><br />We are looking for someone that has a background in wastewater treatment system operation, preventative maintenance, repair, and supervision. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Schedules project labor.</li> <li>Develops work plans with Technical Associate.</li> <li>Develops SOPs with Technical Associate.</li> <li>Responsible for assigned milestones of projects.</li> <li>Prepares and provides project field equipment.</li> <li>Procurement of project materials/equipment.</li> <li>Preparation of proposals for review.</li> <li>Communication of scope and objectives to task/project leads.</li> <li>Preparation of project deliverables for review.</li> <li>Serves as secondary point of contact with the client.</li> <li>Commitment to PLMS and reinforces with staff.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <strong>Knowledge and Experience:</strong> <ul> <li class="paragraph">7+ years&rsquo; experience in wastewater treatment system operation, preventative maintenance, repair, and supervision.</li> </ul> <br /> <div class="paragraph"><strong>Required Skills and Abilities:</strong> <ul> <li>Strong leadership/organizational skills to keep the project on schedule and on track.</li> <li>Ability to quickly learn company&rsquo;s various policies, procedures, and software programs.</li> <li>Identify and resolve problems as they arise.</li> <li>Ability to look at and understand plans and specifications for the project.</li> <li>Responsible for looking at issues from various different angles and render good judgement.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong>&nbsp; <ul> <li class="paragraph">Prolonged periods of sitting, walking, hiking, and standing.&nbsp;</li> <li class="paragraph">Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time.&nbsp;</li> <li class="paragraph">Mobility control of hands to set up equipment and operate tools.&nbsp;</li> <li class="paragraph">Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains.&nbsp;</li> <li class="paragraph">Adherence to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <br /> <div class="paragraph">Candidates must be eligible to work in the USA without Sponsorship.<br /><br /><br /><br />Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc.
