Overview: <p><strong>Loureiro Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Labor Foreman</strong>&nbsp;to join our Heavy Civil and Construction team for projects throughout the New England region. This is a great opportunity for a motivated field leader to take on a hands-on supervisory role and grow with a company that values safety, quality, and teamwork.</p> <p>At LCI, we take pride in performing complex projects using in-house personnel and equipment. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Lead and supervise field crews to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work.</li> <li>Conduct daily huddles and weekly toolbox talks to promote jobsite safety and awareness.</li> <li>Complete daily safety reports and prepare JHAs for specific work activities.</li> <li>Review and track labor, equipment hours, and materials using HeavyJob.</li> <li>Coordinate with the superintendent on work planning, logistics, and productivity targets.</li> <li>Assist in forecasting crew, equipment, and material needs.</li> <li>Ensure project plans and schedules are followed and production goals are met.</li> <li>Collect material delivery tickets and communicate effectively with project staff.</li> <li>Identify and help resolve issues impacting safety, schedule, or quality.</li> <li>Perform other duties as needed to support project success.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Safety-focused and confident in leading a team.</li> <li>Organized, proactive, and experienced in civil construction.</li> <li>A strong communicator and problem-solver.</li> <li>Comfortable with fast-paced field operations and variable site conditions.</li> </ul> <br /> <h4><strong>What You Bring<br /></strong></h4> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience supervising crews and 5+ years in civil construction.</li> <li>Current OSHA 10 or 30 certification (or ability to obtain).</li> <li>High school diploma or trade school certification.</li> <li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transportation.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of construction practices, OSHA safety standards, and equipment use.</li> <li>Ability to read plans and blueprints and convey information clearly to crews.</li> <li>Familiarity with traffic pattern setups and lane closures.</li> <li>Experience using digital reporting systems such as HeavyJob (preferred).</li> <li>Willingness to join the Local Union.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>&nbsp;</strong></h4> <p><br />Loureiro Contractors, Inc.
