Overview: <p><strong>Loureiro Engin</strong><strong>eering&nbsp;</strong><strong>Associates is seeking a</strong><strong>&nbsp;Reality Capture Specialist to support our Building Information Modeling (BIM) and point cloud data processing efforts.</strong>&nbsp;This role is key to creating detailed, accurate digital twins from laser-scanned point clouds for a variety of architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) projects. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Process and analyze raw point cloud data using specialized software for noise reduction, registration, and segmentation.</li> <li>Generate accurate topographic surfaces (e.g., Digital Terrain Models) using tools like TopoDOT.</li> <li>Extract meaningful deliverables from laser scans, including 2D plans and 3D models, aligned with project scopes.</li> <li>Utilize BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Civil 3D, and tools like Riegl RiSCAN and Microstation for modeling and analysis.</li> <li>Collaborate with design and construction teams to provide topographic information for site planning and construction monitoring.</li> <li>Maintain quality assurance and ensure accuracy throughout point cloud processing and BIM integration.</li> <li>Stay current on the latest advancements in laser scanning, point cloud processing, and BIM technologies.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
