Overview: <p><strong>Loureiro Engineering Associates is seeking an Electrical Crew Lead to support electrical installation and troubleshooting projects in industrial environments from our Plainville, CT office.</strong>&nbsp;This role provides hands-on involvement in a wide range of electrical, controls, and fabrication projects, offering the opportunity to work across multiple service areas within our operating divisions.</p> <p>In this position, you will lead and perform field installations, including electrical and control wiring, panel fabrication, machine guarding installation, troubleshooting, and system integration. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Execute assigned tasks with technical accuracy, quality workmanship, and on-time delivery.</li> <li>Install electrical control systems in industrial and manufacturing settings.</li> <li>Perform power wiring (480V, 240V, 120V) using cable and flexible raceways.</li> <li>Complete field and panel control wiring, including terminations of peripheral cables.</li> <li>Fabricate and assemble electrical control panels.</li> <li>Fabricate brackets and hardware for mounting equipment, instruments, or sensors.</li> <li>Install machine guarding equipment, including drilling, threading, and tapping for mounting and anchoring.</li> <li>Troubleshoot machine control boards, PLCs, and complex industrial systems.</li> <li>Install, maintain, and perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment and capital assets.</li> <li>Read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, drawings, manuals, and work instructions.</li> <li>Use precision measuring instruments to verify accuracy and reliability of equipment.</li> <li>Work across diverse industrial project types, including:</li> <ul> <li><strong>Machine Guarding:</strong>&nbsp;Integration of new safety controls and guarding.</li> <li><strong>Industrial Remediation/Treatment Systems:</strong>&nbsp;Controls upgrades, system improvements, new installations, and troubleshooting (instrumentation, transmitters, motors, heaters, etc.).</li> </ul> <li>Refer complex challenges to the Technical Director or Project Manager.</li> <li>Maintain strict adherence to internal and client-specific safety standards.</li> <li>Apply training in Lockout/Tagout, OSHA 10/30, and NFPA 70E (preferred).</li> </ul>
