Overview: <p><strong>Loureiro Engineering Associates is seeking a Project Technician to support our Industrial Services operation based in Plainville, Connecticut.</strong>&nbsp;This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse mix of industrial projects and gain hands-on experience in several of our service areas and operating divisions. You will support and coordinate field installations involving industrial systems, acting as a key link between Loureiro install crews and clients. Responsibilities: <p><strong>Project Coordination &amp; Communication</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prepare and distribute work plans to install crews.</li> <li>Prepare and distribute project-specific safety plans and documentation.</li> <li>Coordinate client project needs and maintain frequent communication with:</li> <ul> <li>Install crews</li> <li>Superintendents</li> <li>Project Managers</li> <li>Clients</li> </ul> <li>Conduct weekly staff scheduling.</li> <li>Coordinate procurement of project-specific equipment and materials.</li> <li>Conduct pre-job walks.</li> <li>Lead or support safety tailgate meetings.</li> <li>Assist with estimating.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Technical &amp; Field Support</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support field installations involving industrial projects and systems.</li> <li>Assist install crews when necessary.</li> <li>Read and write work instructions.</li> <li>Read and interpret diagrams, drawings, manuals, schematics, and instructions.</li> <li>Work from electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.</li> <li>Use precision measuring instruments and equipment to check machines or mechanical equipment for accuracy and reliability.</li> <li>Troubleshoot remediation systems and capital equipment as required.</li> <li>Refer technical difficulties to the Superintendent or Project Manager.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Safety &amp; Compliance</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure compliance with Loureiro and client-specific safety standards.</li> <li>Promote and adhere to safety protocols and good field practices.</li> <li>Apply training such as:</li> <ul> <li>Lockout/Tagout (preferred)</li> <li>OSHA 10 (preferred)</li> <li>OSHA 30 (preferred)</li> <li>NFPA 70E (preferred)</li> </ul> </ul>
