Overview: <p>Our client, an insurtech firm, is looking for a <strong>Claims Resolution Coordinator</strong> to help resolve claims in their NYC office.&nbsp; This position is a temporary to permanent role and promises to present the interested individual many challenges as it is a company in startup mode.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul type="disc"> <li>In this&nbsp;Claims&nbsp;Resolution Coordinator position you will pay close attention to the Anti-Fraud / SIU program, in regards to following up on mandatory employee training course completion, updating vendors with changes in company structure relevant to this program and working with vendors on compliance with state regulatory reporting.&nbsp;</li> <li>You will manage the&nbsp;JobTraQ&nbsp;task queue and work with Legal &amp; Compliance Teams to maintain compliance with state regulatory reporting.&nbsp;</li> <li>Assisting with the funding process is also necessary, and you will Work with TPAs and Finance department on escrow fund management and prefund requests.&nbsp;</li> <li>You will also respond to requests from Customer Care Center, brokers, agents, insureds and others for loss history reports.</li> <li>Equally important to the role are some administrative duties, which help keep things running smoothly. You will open mail and receive faxes and route them accordingly, respond to voicemails from insureds and claimants looking to file claims, and provide them with appropriate claims reporting contact information.&nbsp;</li> <li>Run timely claim reports for the Chief Resolution Officer, clients and the executive team.&nbsp;</li> <li>Manage the Claim Email box administrative functions in email and&nbsp;MFiles&nbsp;which includes filing documents and insuring the integrity of the claim documentation.&nbsp;</li> <li>You will manage and update the TPA reference guide, as well as all the Special Handling Instructions for each TPA and program.&nbsp;</li> <li>Finally, you will also manage travel, expenses and calendar for the Chief Resolution Officer.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul type="disc"> <li>A true self-starter that quickly and independently adapts to a new setting and role and grasps the key fundamentals to thrive.&nbsp;</li> <li>A casual communicator with colleagues at all levels that is fundamentally supported by a genuine sensitivity and commitment to the organization's needs, as it pertains to the claims process.&nbsp;</li> <li>Someone who is technologically inclined and can embrace change at its core.</li> <li>We value the ability to quickly gain trust, partner with peers and business units.
