Responsibilities: <ul> <li>User acceptance testing of break fixes and new releases</li> <li>Configuration and maintenance of the airline reservation system, such as GDS, DCS, and websites</li> <li>Troubleshoot&nbsp;issues and raise tickets with vendors</li> <li>Maintain and upgrade existing systems as required</li> <li>Provision of support, troubleshooting, asset creation, and housekeeping&nbsp;for CMS (Content Management System), the software package that manages Airline Websites; schedules content, manages files and produces reports&nbsp;</li> <li>CMS process documentation and updating with version control</li> <li>Schedule&nbsp;content following the business process requirements</li> <li>Troubleshoot technical issues and risk mitigation planning</li> <li>Create&nbsp;system guidelines and manuals for the organization</li> <li>Lead training sessions and workshops on system processes</li> <li>Define and coordinate the execution of testing procedures, and develop test cases to serve the overall quality assurance process</li> <li>Develop and implement maintenance procedures, monitor systems health, gather system statistics, and troubleshoot reported errors and alarms</li> <li>Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance</li> <li>Conduct regular reviews of systems and generate reports on efficiencies and improvement areas</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Degree or college diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a similar field</li> <li>3 + years of experience in HTML5, XML, Ajax CSS, .Net, Java/Java EE Ruby (ideal) CMS/JD: V1.1</li> <li>Database experience in SQL or Oracle/DB2 (or similar RDBMS), running queries</li> <li>Experience with Dreamweaver, Photoshop, or other&nbsp;editing software</li> <li>Involved in STLC/SDLC</li> <li>Experience on SaaS</li> <li>Strong understanding of Content Management Systems</li> <li>Windows Server and Web Hosting&nbsp;(IIS) knowledge</li> <li>Experience with GDS (Global Distribution System) &amp; DCS (Departure Control System) like Sabre, Radixx or similar required</li> <li>Previous experience in content development management as it related to E-Commerce with an eye for&nbsp;visuals of content quality &ndash; tearing effect, grainy effect, etc</li> <li>Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions</li> <li>Personal accountability &ndash; leads by example, takes responsibility, acts with courage, shows resilience, learns from mistakes, drives continuous improvement, translates ideas into practice, and ensures they are sustainable</li> <li>Strong understanding of data modelling and data visualization tools</li> <li>Capacity to apply critical thinking to avoid common mistakes and risks</li> <li>Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment</li> <li>Strong communication skills to translate highly technical specifications into clear non-technical requirements</li> </ul> <br /> <p><u><strong>WHAT YOU WILL GET FROM US:</strong></u></p> <ul> <li>Industry competitive salary</li> <li>The chance to be part of building something from the ground up.
