Overview: <br />Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Pilot Recruiter plays a key role in creating a qualified pool of candidates, filling vacancies, and is responsible to attract qualified candidates. The Pilot Recruiter will conduct candidate sourcing, review candidate qualifications, and interview potential pilots for our airline while creating and maintaining close candidate relationships.<br /><br /> <ul> <li>Industry competitive salary</li> <li>The chance to be part of building something from the ground up. Responsibilities: <br /><ul><li>Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager to complete applicant screening, conduct phone interviews, and participate in in-person interviews</li><li>Generate leads via different avenues to meet goals for Pilot Recruitment</li><li>Complete reference checks for shortlisted candidates</li><li>Maintain interview notes and hiring records</li><li>Prepare hiring paperwork and information packs</li><li>Develop applicant screening and interview questions</li><li>Provide support, coaching, and direction to hiring managers</li><li>Assist new hire pilots with any issues/concerns prior to the class beginning</li><li>Represent Lynx Air at career fairs, flight schools, and other institutions</li><li>Develop a strong network of industry professionals</li><li>Assist with other duties as assigned</li></ul>
Requirements: <br /><ul><li>3+ years of general, full-cycle recruitment experience</li><li>Post secondary education in Human Resources, Aviation is considered an asset</li><li>Working knowledge of employment standards as it pertains to Canadian pilots, Canadian Labour Code knowledge is considered an asset</li><li>Superior writing skills demonstrated by success in drafting materials for diverse audiences, including management, professional personnel, and external business partners</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft applications</li><li>Excellent communication skills; able to communicate in a clear, accurate, concise, and professional manner; fluency in both verbal and written English (French an asset)</li><li>Diplomatic, tactful, and empathetic</li><li>High degree of motivation, commitment, and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, changing environment</li><li>Proven ability to multi-task with minimal supervision</li><li>Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational skills</li><li>Take initiative and work well independently, as well as collaboratively</li><li>Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is considered an asset</li><li>Aviation industry experience is considered a strong asset</li></ul>
