If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!</p> <p>We are seeking a Crew Scheduler for our OCC department to join our rapidly expanding, dynamic team!<br /><br /></p> <p><u><strong>WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS:</strong></u></p> <p>The Crew Scheduler will ensure crew requirements are planned and managed in a timely and effective manner, with adherence to Transport Canada regulations and Company policy. Effectively communicate plans to crew and other stakeholders as required. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Manage Crew scheduling problems while demonstrating an ability to listen and empathize with crew members.</li> <li>Implement and follow up on daily Crew Scheduling checklists to ensure completion and accuracy.</li> <li>Ensure schedule amendments comply with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARS), Commercial Air Service Standards (CASS), the Company Operations Manual (COM), and other related documentation.</li> <li>Implement IROP contingency plans.</li> <li>Assist with daily reporting and tracking as required.</li> <li>Monitor and authorize crew shift trades.</li> <li>Adhere to Flight Operations policies and Inflight Department policies as outlined in the COM, the FAM and other company policy documents.</li> <li>Ensure appropriate deadheading arrangements are made, confirmed, and tracked for crews.</li> <li>Monitor and mitigate Crew duty and rest violations.</li> <li>Administer all planned and irregular crew hotel, air and ground transportation requirements.</li> <li>MCL/Crew APIS.</li> <li>Strong focus on On-Time Performance (OTP) requirements.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High School Diploma.</li> <li>Previous scheduling experience, with a preference for experience in a CAR 705 airline operation.</li> <li>Previous experience of complex scheduling software, e.g., Merlot, AIMS, iFlight NEO, Sabre, etc.</li> <li>Intermediate level of knowledge with MS Office applications.</li> <li>Excellent communications skills and the ability to communicate in a clear, accurate, concise, and professional manner.</li> <li>A high degree of motivation and commitment to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, changing environment.</li> <li>Demonstrated success in multi-tasking during high-stress situations with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work shift work.</li> <li>Able to think critically and take a proactive approach to identify problems, issues, and opportunities.</li> <li>Must be a Canadian Citizen/Permanent Resident.</li> <li>Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Bilingualism in both English and French is an asset.</li> <li>Experience in training coordination an asset.</li> <li>Experience in payroll an asset.</li> <li>Experience in document management an asset.</li> </ul> <br /> <p>&nbsp;</p>
