Overview: <p>Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Manager, of Treasury will manage treasury functions, liaise with banking partners, and be responsible for cash forecasting, and lessor administration. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Oversee and maintain company banking relationships</li> <li>Negotiate bank fees, service charges, and facilities</li> <li>Comply with bank covenants and liaise for industry-specific financial reporting</li> <li>Engage in relationships with aircraft lessors and oversee lease agreements</li> <li>Ensure timely payment of lease obligations and adhere to lease terms</li> <li>Work with finance and operations teams on aircraft lease management</li> <li>Conduct daily and weekly cash forecasting</li> <li>Monitor real-time cash flow, analyzing variances</li> <li>Strategize on fuel hedging and manage currency exchange risks</li> <li>Create and maintain competitor benchmarking databases</li> <li>Analyze competitive public data for insights into industry standards and trends</li> <li>Collaborate with teams to ensure data accuracy and relevance</li> <li>Assist in developing internal Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)</li> <li>Report on KPIs, providing actionable insights to leadership</li> <li>Present KPI reports to internal teams for clarity and alignment</li> <li>Utilize advanced Excel functions for data analysis and financial modeling</li> <li>Implement automation techniques for financial processes</li> <li>Train staff on Excel best practices relevant to airline finance</li> <li>Collaborate with leadership to determine financial strategies</li> <li>Identify cost-saving opportunities in treasury operations</li> <li>Stay abreast of airline industry trends and best practices</li> <li>Collaborate with the CFO and finance team to prepare comprehensive financial reports for the board</li> <li>Ensure timely compilation and presentation of financial data, forecasts, and strategies for board meetings</li> <li>Assist in answering board queries and provide clarification on financial matters during board meetings</li> <li>Continuously refine and improve reporting formats to cater to board preferences and evolving business needs</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or certifications (e.g., CTP, CFA) preferred.</li> <li>5+ years in treasury or finance</li> <li>Advanced, demonstrable expertise in Excel</li> <li>Advanced, demonstrable verbal, written, and presentation skills</li> <li>Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
