Responsibilities: MAJOR JOB DUTIES: Duties include, but are not limited to the following:<br /><ul><li>Assisting supervisor to ensure bidding procedures are followed in compliance with procurement goals.</li><li>Communicating with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.</li><li>Ensuring quality and quantity of received goods compared to purchase order and takes action, if necessary.</li><li>Communicating regularly with supervisor, and internal customers.</li><li>Focusing on continuous improvement of quality assets and services.</li><li>Managing and maintaining product sourcing and bid searching.</li><li>Assisting in cost control and savings program.</li><li>Ensuring that all products are transferred correctly, and documentation is maintained using departmental software system.</li><li>Participating in continuing product and systems trainings.</li><li>Communicating all pertinent information to supervisor and the internal customers.</li><li>Performing other job-related duties as assigned.</li><li>Ensures the financial delivery of the agreed upon savings goals to be established for each functional area within procurement.</li><li>Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to the Regional Director of Procurement. </li><li>Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.</li></ul>
Requirements: EXPERIENCE: 3 years years buying, expediting, and other directly related purchasing and hospitality experience required.<br /> <br />EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED<br /> <br />SKILLS: Good organizational skills. Knowledge of basic and intermediate math. General knowledge of purchasing procedures. Must have the ability to work with co-workers and management. Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, policies, and procedures. Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English. Strong MMS/Stratton Warren skills. Ability to form strong vendor relationships.<br /> <br />CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: Gaming Registration.Valid driver’s license<br />
