Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Supervise and manage staff in the Planning &amp; Analysis department. Develop, implement, and oversee operational goals, monitoring performance and profit objectives.</li> <li>Lead short- and long-term financial analysis for the property, including labor and financial data reporting.</li> <li>Exercise discretion and independent judgment in business planning and analysis.</li> <li>Create efficient schedules that balance labor costs, staffing needs, and deadlines.</li> <li>Assist in the departmental budget process, provide recommendations, ensure compliance, and report concerns to management.</li> <li>Calculate marketing program profitability and analyze results to identify opportunities for improved efficiency. Present findings to the executive team.</li> <li>Compare actual results to budget and prior year, summarize key findings, and present recommendations to improve EBITDA.</li> <li>Develop presentations for budget meetings and operational reviews.</li> <li>Present and discuss analyses with senior executives at both corporate and property levels.</li> <li>Maintain and distribute key operating metrics to evaluate performance against company objectives.</li> <li>Monitor labor costs and identify efficiency opportunities.</li> <li>Perform database queries to extract data for analysis.</li> <li>Prepare ad-hoc analyses as needed.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with Gaming Commission regulations, internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.</li> <li>Promote and uphold superior customer service standards. Address service issues and ensure departmental goals are met.</li> <li>Ensure regulatory compliance and report potential issues to Executive Management/GM.</li> <li>Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited four-year college or university.&nbsp;</li> <li>Minimum of two years of casino experience preferred.</li> <li>Must be at least 21 years of age.</li> <li>Strong communication skills, including formal presentations to executives.</li> <li>Broad knowledge of accounting and financial analysis.</li> <li>Experience with report writing software preferred.</li> <li>Advanced Excel skills required.</li> <li>Financial modeling experience required.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Oracle ERP, Tableau, SQL, Salesforce, and other relevant systems preferred.</li> <li>**Must qualify for all licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations in Nevada and New Mexico**</li> </ul> SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES <ul> <li>Oversee staff development and training programs.</li> <li>Manage rewards and recognition initiatives to enhance employee engagement.</li> <li>Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback.</li> <li>Make staffing recommendations, including interviewing, hiring, and scheduling.</li> <li>Establish work procedures and optimize workflow.</li> <li>Handle employee performance management, including coaching and discipline.</li> </ul>
