Responsibilities: <p><strong><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">What You Will Do:</span></strong><span data-darkreader-inline-color=""><br /><br />As a Financial Consultant, you will provide quality advice and service to assist Canadian physicians, and their families, in achieving their personal financial goals. As a partner with MD&rsquo;s Specialist Advisors, you will focus on preparing comprehensive financial plans and tailored investment strategies for clients. You will be responsible for driving growth in the business; your authentic and confident approach will lead to consolidation opportunities and new client acquisition. You will proactively identify client needs and actively refer to MD Private Investment Counsel (discretionary management), MD Private Trust (estate and executor services) and MD Insurance, where beneficial to the client. &nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />You will further your knowledge of behavioral finance and advanced financial planning concepts, including income tax, investment trends and products, and any other issues that impact clients. Your thorough understanding of compliance with all industry regulations will ensure accurate administration of all client transactions and compliance requirements, thus minimizing risk and expense to the client and the company.</span></p> <p><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">As a Financial Consultant, you will participate in facilitating seminars and events throughout the region, to deepen relationships with existing and potential clients. &nbsp;<br /><br />Flexibility to travel, as required, is expected.</span></p>
Requirements: <p><span data-darkreader-inline-color=""><strong>What You Need:</strong><br /><br />The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3-5 years&rsquo; experience providing financial advice within the financial services industry, coupled with a University degree.
