Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Performs Accounts Payable activities including reconciliations, auditing transactions, preparing purchase orders, cash receipts, payments and reporting</li> <li>Performs Accounts Receivable activities including invoicing, travel advances and reconciliations</li> <li>Performs General Ledger activities including journal entries, banking, lockbox, foreign exchange, government reporting, fixed assets, HST filing, bank reconciliations, weekly cash flow projections, balancing inter-company accounts, month-end and year-end closing of books</li> <li>Prepares management reports for internal audits, transfer pricing and SRED</li> <li>Assists with the preparation of budgets and forecasts</li> <li>Prepares payroll journal entries, DPSP, reconciliations, processes expense reports</li> <li>Prepares manual cheques, wire transfers</li> <li>Maintains petty cash, cheque stock, chart of accounts</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Post-secondary diploma in Accounting or Business</li> <li>Pursuing CPA designation</li> <li>Minimum of five years related experience</li> <li>Related manufacturing/automotive experience</li> <li>Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office,/Lotus Notes)</li> <li>Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics preferred</li> <li>Intermediate Excel Skills (Vlookup, SUMIF, Pivot Tables)</li> <li>Communication skills(listening, writing, speaking)</li> <li>Ability to manage time and organize the effort</li> <li>Attention to detail</li> <li>Ability to analyze data</li> <li>Problem solving skills</li> <li>Ability to multi-task</li> <li>Self-motivating and able to work</li> <li>Ability to maintaining confidentiality and integrity</li> </ul>
