Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Coach, council and discipline staff.</li> <li>Assign staff daily job duties.</li> <li>Write recipes, formulate and implement standards.</li> <li>Train cast to ensure consistency of product.</li> <li>Assure that sanitation and safety procedures are followed.</li> <li>Control food, Labor and associated costs.</li> <li>Produce food product for banquets.</li> <li>Attend BEO meetings, assist with input and organization of all BEOs.</li> <li>Control quality of food for all banquets.</li> <li>Prepare banquet food, oversee plate-ups, buffet set-ups and any other banquet related duties as assigned.</li> <li>Work in other areas during slow times as assigned by the Executive Culinary Management.</li> <li>Conduct daily meetings.</li> <li>Must be flexible due to business demands of guests.</li> </ul> <br /><br /><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong>&nbsp;Orchestrate, schedule and supervise individual employees. Coordinate with the Executive Chef on employee needs and production. Council discipline, coach and train.
Requirements: <div class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoMsg_Job"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Container"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Text"> <p><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:</strong>&nbsp; <br /><br />High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 2-year culinary degree. Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in multi outlet facility, supervisory skills classes, and a Sanitation Certificate. High-end banquet production and volume are required. Must be able to multitask and work with other departments.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>LANGUAGE SKILLS:</strong>&nbsp;English</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:</strong>&nbsp;Ability to calculate figures, amounts, discounts, percentages and apply them to practical situations. Basic culinary math.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:</strong>&nbsp;Sanitation Certificate.
