Material is seeking a strategic and hands-on Program Manager who will partner with employees, people managers, and leaders on the design, launch, execution, and management of a wide range of initiatives and programs. We are seeking a collaborative, innovative, and skilled Program Manager, with a significant commitment to DEI, working closely with multiple cross-functional partners, and the proven ability to influence and support leaders and key stakeholders. Responsibilities: In this role you will: <ul> <li>Influence, manage relationships, and drive impact through a cross-functional, collaborative internal ecosystem of partners from Employee Resource Groups, Diversity, Equity &amp; Inclusion, and internal business stakeholders</li> <li>Build strong engagement across a myriad of partners to effectively grow and keep historically under-represented talent across our organization.</li> <li>Effectively utilize data to propose solutions, track program key performance indicators and insights. Identify trends, ensure projects and programs align to company Diversity Equity &amp; Inclusion priorities and key research</li> <li>Prepare executive-level reporting on key metrics and project status and share updates regularly with employees and Material leadership</li> <li>Focus on crafting tools and frameworks that enable ERGs and other internal partners to keep the organization meaningfully informed and engaged in critical DEI initiatives</li> <li>Propose industry-defining, creative solutions, and influence leadership to take action</li> <li>Lead and support projects, when appropriate, from initiation through to execution in order to scale and operationalize Diversity Equity &amp; Inclusion programs across Material</li> <li>Champion diversity equity and inclusion internally and externally by approaching programming with diversity, equity and inclusion in mind on all initiatives</li> </ul>
Requirements: About you: <ul> <li>2 or more years of experience with project management or operations</li> <li>Desire to gain experience translating diversity data and insights into operational plans of action</li> <li>Experience influencing cross-functional teams and driving a program/project against key performance indicators through to completion</li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications: <ul> <li>Effective interpersonal, communication and leadership skills to influence operational changes and maximize adoption of new insights, tools and practices</li> <li>Experience and desire to collaborate and work with internal stakeholders across different locations and time zones</li> <li>At least one year of proven Diversity Equity &amp; Inclusion engagement, with focus on purposeful activation of underrepresented talent</li> <li>Flexibility to prioritize multiple tasks concurrently with acute attention to detail and deliver high quality work</li> <li>Experience in fast-paced work environment and demonstrated agility during changes in priorities</li> </ul>
