Overview: T3 is looking for a&nbsp;Senior Design Researcher to join our rapidly evolving team. This is an immediate opening to join the team in our Austin, TX office. Because we are currently remote due to COVID-19 and will be moving to a hybrid working model in the Fall, we have the flexibility to hire outside of the Austin area. As Senior Design Researcher, you&rsquo;ll be responsible for leading generative and evaluative research. Responsibilities: Senior Design Researcher Responsibilities:&nbsp; <ul> <li>Lead UX research autonomously on client projects with a cross-disciplinary team &nbsp;</li> <li>Conduct stakeholder interviews, competitive research, heuristics and strategic analysis&nbsp;</li> <li>Learn and process a large amount of contextual technical data &nbsp;</li> <li>Produce research deliverables from analysis documentation, personas, user journeys, scenarios, flows to anything innovative that addresses client needs&nbsp;</li> <li>Produce technical documentation from sitemaps to information architecture. &nbsp;</li> <li>Collaborate/run client workshops, consensus building, handoff to product design and research presentations&nbsp;</li> <li>Perform user testing using a range of tools and software, including both unmoderated and moderated sessions&nbsp;</li> <li>Be a&nbsp;long term&nbsp;point of reference of technical understanding and knowledge for both the client and our team. &nbsp;</li> <li>Collaborate with design in brainstorming and whiteboarding sessions&nbsp;</li> <li>Keep abreast of research industry standards and developments &nbsp;</li> <li>Travel once or twice a month for a day or two &nbsp;</li> <li>***Huge plus: you'll be able to turn your insights into concise, clean visual deliverables and have experience doing so &nbsp;</li> </ul>
Requirements: The&nbsp;Ideal Candidate:&nbsp; <ul> <li>You are kind, insightful, analytical, curious, eager, collaborative, empathetic, adaptive, communicative, experienced&nbsp;</li> <li>You not only solve problems given to&nbsp;you,&nbsp;you solve problems that don&rsquo;t exist yet &nbsp;</li> <li>You know the breadth of user research activities and have experience conducting them &nbsp;</li> <li>You are a leader who can work autonomously, while supporting team integration.  &nbsp;</li> <li>You know how to create compelling stories, tying research insights to design initiatives both verbally and visually &nbsp;</li> <li>You either have e-commerce experience (health, retail, b2b other) or a technical background (oil &amp; gas, pharma, engineering, etc.)&nbsp;</li> </ul>
