Overview: We have an immediate position available for a Senior Social Strategist on our Connections team. This person is a core strategic thinker, ensuring social channel and communications plans ladder back to the brand's business objectives and audience needs.&nbsp; Because our office is currently remote due to COVID-19, we have flexibility to hire outside of the Austin area but are most interested in candidates who are local or would be eventually willing to relocate. Responsibilities include: The Senior Social Strategist is a channel expert&mdash;Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, you name it&mdash;and is responsible for developing briefs and social strategies and presenting them skillfully to internal teams or clients. This person will work closely with our in-house creative, media and analytics groups to provide actionable insight, analysis, points of view and rationale. They also will be looked to for thought leadership and will work with the Associate and Director-level folks on the team to stay on the cutting edge of trends.<br /><br />About the team:&nbsp; The Connections team at T3 isn&rsquo;t just a social and media team&mdash;we&rsquo;re a strategy team that turns insight into action. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Develops creative briefs that inspire thumb-stopping content that meets objectives effectively</li> <li>Manages calendars and content plans, ensuring assets and messages support objectives and requirements</li> <li>for key promotional windows</li> <li>Maintains a pulse on trends and emerging platforms to develop POVs for clients&nbsp;</li> <li>Supports measurement and insights team with social audience and creative performance analysis;</li> <li>provides insight from social listening platforms&nbsp;</li> <li>Identifies opportunities for partnerships with brands and personalities or real-time engagement</li> <li>opportunities&nbsp;</li> <li>Contributes to new business pitches by providing insight and on-the-ground recommendations as</li> <li>a channel expert</li> <li>Bonus points if they know enough about other marketing elements like CRM, site, loyalty, etc.</li> <li>to be dangerous</li> </ul>
Requirements: The ideal candidate: <ul> <li>4+ years of professional experience in social media (strategy or community management preferred)</li> <li>in an agency environment or in a job that required attention across several projects at once&nbsp;</li> <li>Knowledge of paid social capabilities and best practices&nbsp;</li> <li>Well-versed and experienced in working across digital as well as the social ecosystem</li> <li>Ability to think strategically and creatively about messaging and channel&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong writing, presentation and analytical thinking skills</li> <li>Comfort presenting to and collaborating with clients&nbsp;</li> <li>Curious, open-minded and a team player. Leaves the ego at the door and enjoys fast-paced environments.&nbsp;</li> </ul>
