Responsibilities: As a Director of Payroll, you will&nbsp;&nbsp; <ul> <li>Design strategies for process improvements in the Company&rsquo;s payroll operations including the use of technology to improve processes</li> <li>Partner and collaborate with Human Resources on various aspects, including onboarding new hires, terminations, and other changes impacting payroll</li> <li>Collaborate with the Tax function on all payroll tax related matters and with General Accounting related to month-end close process</li> <li>Oversee and manage the preparation, processing, and review of the bi-weekly payroll for 1,000+ employees</li> <li>Develop and implement internal controls and workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately&nbsp;</li> <li>Identifies and coordinates changes in policy and procedures governed by federal, state, and local laws that affect the global payroll function</li> <li>Responsible for compliance with filing periodic returns and issuing W-2 and similar forms</li> <li>Maintain confidentiality of any payroll, private employee information and any proprietary information and ensures payroll information is secure</li> <li>Supervise multiple layers of staff, including hiring/termination decisions</li> <li>Manage setup of payroll for newly established entities and support expansion to new regions</li> <li>Encourage teamwork and collaborative attitudes&nbsp;</li> </ul>
Requirements: About you&nbsp; <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, HR, or other business-related field preferred</li> <li>Minimum of 10 years payroll management experience in a large, global organization (multi-national, multi-state, and multi-sites)</li> <li>Global expansion and setup experience required and M&amp;A integration experience a plus</li> <li>Technical Knowledge &ndash; Global tax withholding and reporting regulations, payroll tax accounting</li> <li>Working knowledge of HRIS, payroll systems and payroll tax filings is required.</li> <li>Certified Payroll Professionals (CPP) designation preferred</li> <li>Experience with Workday and ADP Workforce Now and Global Streamline very highly preferred</li> <li>Strong leadership skills balanced with a willingness to play a 'hands-on' role.</li> <li>Leading, coaching, developing, and inspiring a global team, setting team goals, measuring success, and communicating achievements</li> <li>Commitment to accuracy and quality, with superior attention to detail</li> <li>Superior organization and project management skills demonstrated by the ability to prioritize multiple projects and drive towards deadlines and results</li> <li>Strong process and procedure orientation for continuous process improvements</li> <li>Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint</li> <li>Demonstrated drive for excellence in operational support and customer service</li> <li>Change management experience and ability to facilitate change</li> </ul>
