Overview: We have an immediate position available for a Director, Social Media Strategy to help lead and further T3&rsquo;s Social Media Strategy and Management practice from our Austin, TX office. Because our office is currently remote due to COVID-19, we have flexibility to hire outside of the Austin area but are most interested in candidates who would be eventually willing to relocate. This role will be responsible for multiple lines of business and you will be empowered to oversee a team of capable strategists and coordinators to deliver strategic, comprehensive work.&nbsp; &nbsp;<br /><br /> <strong>About the team:</strong> The Social Media practice at T3 isn&rsquo;t just a social and media team&mdash;we&rsquo;re a strategy team that turns insight into action. Responsibilities: <strong>Core Responsibilities:</strong> The ideal candidate is a seasoned strategist, storyteller, campaign planner, and social media enthusiast who is energized by understanding and connecting brands to their customers through channels like Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, and the like.<br /><br />This applicant should be able to: <ul> <li>Oversee the direction of connected social media projects from concept through completion, on schedule, on budget and meeting or exceeding client expectations</li> <li>Work directly with clients and cross-functional teams to lead strategic planning and develop briefs that will lead to business-building connections strategies and programs</li> <li>Develop social media initiatives, pitch social media opportunities and act as point of contact for clients</li> <li>Identify the optimal platforms for campaign executions, ensure all content is relevant to the target audience and meets client objectives</li> <li>Be a seasoned presenter who knows how to own a room and energize client teams</li> <li>Manage a team of social strategists and social campaign creators, ensure programs and deliverables are consistent and connected across accounts</li> <li>Help lead business development (organic &amp; net new pitches) in coordination with our growth team.</li> </ul>
Requirements: Qualifications <ul> <li>10+ years experience, primarily in social strategy roles</li> <li>Extensive experience developing and executing multi-platform paid, owned and earned social media programs with advanced knowledge of social media trends and technology on behalf of a client or corporation at scale</li> <li>Strategic thought leader ability to use consumer insights data, platform performance and key social media trends to inform the development of strategies and plans</li> <li>Hands-on team manager and mentor with the ability to manage direct-reports and cross-functional teams across multiple clients</li> <li>In-depth understanding of strategic social planning, community management, advocacy, influencer outreach, channels, publishing and creative best practices specific to social media</li> <li>Familiarity with social and media analytics, insights and reporting for program optimization</li> <li>Established strategic relationships with social marketing platforms and vendors; serve as subject-matter expert of social and paid media landscape</li> <li>Expert level attention to detail, as well as strong organizational and communication skills needed to maintain brand integrity and dialogue with a broad user base</li> <li>Socially active with a solid understanding of social media and the dynamics of community interaction</li> </ul>
