Overview: <strong>ROLE</strong> &nbsp; <br />As an Associate Strategist you will bring your ability to gracefully blend quantitative analytical skills with qualitative insight identification to tell compelling stories to our clients. An Associate strategist must create refined Boolean strings, analytical frameworks and keen insights to help &nbsp;our clients understand what is most important to a consumer.&nbsp; Our team is focused on business outcome development of both strategic and tactical recommendations allowing our clients to grow business.&nbsp; We don&rsquo;t just identify insights we tie them to actions. &nbsp; Our team members are persistent, and curious, unwilling to accept the obvious and relentless about digging into the data to identify &ldquo;nuggets" of unexpected insights.&nbsp;To succeed in this role, you need to be very independent and have a strong drive toward quality.&nbsp; You also must be able to juggle more than one project, work under aggressive timelines at times, and be interested in presenting findings to senior executives.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br /><strong>About Us</strong> <br />Material is an innovative, fast-growing market research firm with an entrepreneurial culture. Responsibilities: What You Will Be Doing &nbsp; <br /><strong>PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES</strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <br /> <ul> <li>Create comprehensive linguistic terms based on Boolean logic Master proprietary linguistic and charting tool (Expedition).</li> <li>Define and organize data harvest to create a working dataset.</li> <li>Select appropriate frameworks, tools and approaches.</li> <li>Analyze and identify blind spots, opportunities and areas of interest.</li> <li>Assemble strategic insights into presentation materials.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES</strong> <br /> <ul> <li>Develop an understanding of client&rsquo;s business environment and challenges.</li> <li>Keep abreast of emerging behaviors, technologies and companies that can change the client&rsquo;s business.</li> <li>Present findings to clients.</li> </ul>
Requirements: Education and/or Experience: <br /> <ul> <li>B.A. in related field such as Business, Economics, or Social Sciences.</li> <li>1-3 years related experience (Market Research, Insights, Ad Agency, etc.) &nbsp;</li> </ul> Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Familiarity with linguistic coding/Boolean logic</li> <li>Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint</li> <li>Effective use of the internet to search for themes/opportunities</li> <li>Able to cultivate social media for analysis; Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, etc.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</li> </ul>
