Overview: Material is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Vice President, Strategy. This role will oversee the integration of multiple marketing and transformation strategy offerings including brand, go-to-market, social, performance, customer experience, and digital. This role will also work very closely with leaders in our analytics, creative services, and media teams to ensure an effective, best-in-class cross-functional offering.<br /> <p><strong>About Us:</strong></p> <p>Material+ is an analytics-driven marketing services firm powered by sophisticated analytics and deep human understanding. Material has actively acquired a portfolio of businesses to build a unique, integrated marketing services business with key capabilities in analytics, intelligence, and experience for an array of top-tier clients in entertainment, tech, retail, healthcare, and packaged goods.</p>
Responsibilities: <p><strong>Vice President, Strategy Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage and grow a cross-functional set of strategy disciplines with the aim of integrating them into a seamless set of subject matter experts able to engage client decision-makers at multiple levels.</li> <li>Develop and nurture client relationships at Director, Vice President, and C-level.</li> <li>Support and supervise data and research initiatives that can improve client knowledge of current customers and prospects.</li> <li>Provide a business case for a program development roadmap inclusive of people, processes, and tools needed to more effectively deliver client value across the funnel.</li> <li>Lead business development initiatives in coordination with creative, media, and growth teams with a goal of expanding integrated presence across existing accounts as well as pitching and winning net new business.</li> <li>Oversee team administration inclusive hiring, allocation, evaluation, and training.</li> <li>Actively participate in cross-agency service offering development as well as thought leadership creation.</li> </ul> <p>Strategy is core to everything we do so strong candidates will be evangelists and collaborators as much as they are insight and implication leaders.</p>
Requirements: Qualified candidates will have 15+ years of experience developing and delivering increasingly complex strategy functions with a track record of integrating multiple strategic functions into singular, business-building roadmaps. Experience in both agency and management consultancy environments is highly desirable.
