Overview: Exciting new opportunities for Per Diem Staff Pharmacists to work within retail pharmacies located throughout the District of Columbia. We&rsquo;re looking for customer service oriented pharmacists to join our growing company. The pharmacies will be managed by Maxor National Pharmacy Services headquartered in Amarillo, TX
Responsibilities: Responsible for performing all of the duties of a pharmacist, ensuring that prescriptions are dispensed safely and accurately, and for adhering to all applicable State and Federal laws that govern the practice of pharmacy, including dispensing of medications, record keeping, etc. Pharmacist may be required to precept pharmacy students and residents and serve as a drug information resource to patients and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements: <strong>QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:</strong><br /><br />Successful candidates will possess the following education and experience necessary for this position: <br /><br /><strong>Education:</strong> <br /><br /> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy</li> <li>Pharm D or equivalent demonstrated experience required</li> <li>Current District of Columbia Pharmacist license</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Experience:</strong> <br /><br /> <ul> <li>3+ years retail pharmacy management experience</li> <li>Bilingual Spanish a PLUS</li> <li>Experience in HIV/AIDS clinical setting preferred</li> <li>Strong leadership and supervisory skills;</li> <li>Ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team; Save</li> <li>Effective written and verbal communication skills;</li> <li>Prior knowledge of local, state, and federal accrediting body and OSHA rules and regulations preferred.</li> </ul> <br />For immediate consideration, please apply on line at https://www.maxor.com/about/careers<br /><br />VACCINES ARE REQUIRED
