Overview: Continued growth at Maxor has created an opportunity for a Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing Specialty Pharmacy. This is an excellent opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician or Customer Service professional with retail pharmacy or high volume experience to make a positive impact in the lives of the patients we care for, working with a devoted pharmacy operations team. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Answer incoming calls to complete the refill reorder requests or transfer the call to the appropriate team or employee.</li> <li>Answers or routes customer questions, messages, concerns, grievances or suggestions to the appropriate staff or applicable supervisor according to company policy.</li> <li>Contacts patients due for a refills.</li> <li>Starts refill reassessment on each patient contacted for refill, leaves the assessment incomplete for the RPh to review.</li> <li>Verifies and updates the &lsquo;Ship to Address&rsquo; to ensure accurate delivery of medication.</li> <li>Verifies and updates the method of payment on file for each refill and saves credit card information in CPR+ for future use.</li> <li>Verifies and updates insurance information is still active or if changes have occurred in patient&rsquo;s benefits.</li> <li>Obtains a copy of the new insurance card and adds to patient&rsquo;s electronic chart, if changes have occurred.</li> <li>Responsible for managing the following Ques in the SPRX list: <ul> <li>B &ndash; Patients to contact &ndash; Refills</li> </ul> </li> </ul>
Requirements: <strong>Education:</strong> <br /><br /> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred</li> <li>Active Pharmacy Tech certification preferred, but not required</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Experience:</strong> <br /><br /> <ul> <li>Previous pharmacy experience and patient based service</li> <li>Retail preferred, but not required</li> <li>Strong customer service experience</li> <li>Comfortable with Outlook, Excel, Word, and aptitude for learning how to use new software systems</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</strong><br /><br /> <ul> <li>Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written</li> <li>Working knowledge of computer software, specifically Microsoft Office and Outlook</li> <li>Ability to problem solve and multi-task</li> <li>Ability to accurately enter data into multiple software systems</li> <li>Demonstrated organizational skills</li> <li>Ability to work with a diverse group of people, including patients and physicians</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Why Choose a Career at Maxor?</strong><br /><br />Maxor offers a diverse, progressive culture that supports a &ldquo;dress for your day&rdquo; attire, and a collaborative, team oriented environment.
