Overview: Maxor Specialty, a division of Maxor National Pharmacy Services, LLC, is seeking a Manager, Patient Services to join our new specialty pharmacy in Las Vegas, NV. The Manager, Patient Services is responsible for overseeing all activities related to intake, referral management, insurance verification, inbound and outbound calls and assists with developing and administering all training related to the department and performing quality audits.<br /><br /><strong>Position Location</strong><br /><br />Las Vegas, NV<br /><br /><strong>Our Company</strong><br /><br />We're Maxor and we're building a different kind of pharmacy company. Responsibilities: <ol> <li>Supervise daily tasks and manage workflow of referral process</li> <li>Address and resolve escalated and urgent issues</li> <li>Develop indicators for monitoring and evaluating quality of work and meeting turnaround time standards</li> <li>Ensure up to date quality control processes are in place to ensure integrity of enrollment and insurance verification data</li> <li>Identify utilization trends of incomplete or inaccurate verification processes and develop appropriate work processes to respond to exceptions and minimize financial risk</li> <li>Manage workload effectively to ensure performance standards are met</li> <li>Oversee and manage inbound and outbound call handling ensuring service level standards are met</li> <li>Evaluate and report call center statistics to management</li> <li>Evaluate current procedures and practices and implement changes ensuring compliance with all related laws, regulations and contractual requirements</li> <li>Assist in the development and implementation of training modules and materials, including providing training to employees</li> </ol>
Requirements: <strong>Education/Experience:</strong><br /><br /> <ul> <li>Certified Pharmacy Technician, strongly preferred</li> <li>High school diploma or equivalent experience.</li> <li>3+ years of healthcare, insurance or benefits experience.</li> <li>Strong oral and written communication skills.</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.</li> <li>Previous experience as a lead in a functional area or managing cross-functional teams on large-scale projects preferred.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Ideal Candidate</strong><br /><br /> <ul> <li>Certified Pharmacy Technician with specialty pharmacy experience</li> <li>Strong prior authorization experience</li> <li>2-3 years&rsquo; experience training groups of 10 or more</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Logistics</strong><br /><br /> <ul> <li>Full-time, FLSA exempt</li> <li>Position available October, 2020</li> <li>Position based in Las Vegas, NV</li> <li>Reports to the Pharmacy Manager</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Why Should You Choose Maxor?</strong><br /><br />Maxor offers a culture that promotes teamwork and where employees are valued as the Company&rsquo;s best asset.
