Full-Time

Overview: This position requires managing the pre-construction, design, execution, and close out of turnkey design build projects in accordance with company objectives and goals. Duties include but are not limited to engineering management, conceptual estimating, pricing change orders, multi-trade project scheduling, short-term scheduling, booking change orders in internal cost analysis system, procurement of equipment, RFIs, submittals, managing field labor, field coordination, subcontractor management, material take off , and interacting with the Prime Contractor and Owners project teams to successfully execute construction projects and to support the acquisition of additional work. This job may require a full-time presence on out of town project sites during construction if the size and complexity of the project requires it.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Represent McKenney&rsquo;s, Inc. as the prime contractor or prime subcontractor on turnkey design build projects.</li> <li>Managing internal and external engineering teams including multi -trade engineering coordination</li> <li>and shop drawing review.</li> <li>Estimating, budgeting and written proposals</li> <li>Understand contracts and contractual scope</li> <li>Marketing/sales, negotiating</li> <li>Customer development and retention, entertainment</li> <li>Planning and scheduling including short term interval scheduling of various crafts</li> <li>Manage material, equipment, tools, information, and subcontractors on each job</li> <li>Material, equipment and subcontractor procurement</li> <li>Cost control (internal accounting system, change orders, etc)</li> <li>Ensuring quality and performance</li> <li>Timely invoicing of all work completed to date and conscientious follow-up on collection of money due to ensure positive cash flow</li> <li>Communications with general contractors, architects, engineers, and owners</li> <li>Start up, commissioning and owner training</li> <li>Supervision of field crews</li> <li>Safety awareness, training, promotion</li> <li>Warranty administration</li> <li>Provide input and participate in formulation of strategic plans and their execution</li> <li>Market and promote the entire company</li> <li>Understand, practice, and promote all company values and operational procedures</li> <li>Mentorship and development of APM&rsquo;s and Co-ops</li> </ul>
