Overview: This job requires the implementation of comprehensive selling and business development strategies of the energy conservation and managed service offerings of McKenney’s Inc. Responsibilities include the development of sales opportunities within our target key markets. Project development intended to creatively and effectively propose customer solutions resulting from an intentional discovery and qualification process.
Responsibilities: Lead all aspects of the Energy Services sales process, while calling upon other company support resources to assist in solution development and proposal delivery through opportunity closing. Minimal interaction during implementation phases will be primarily focused on customer relationship management. Specifically, sales process requirements will include: <ul> <li>Manage daily sales activities focused on meeting or exceeding individual and group annual sales targets</li> <li>Develop and execute a prospecting plan focused on each of our Key Market Opportunities</li> <li>Convert prospecting leads to opportunities with thorough qualifying process</li> <li>Convert highly qualified proposed opportunities to closure</li> <li>Track all sales related activities using our CRM platform</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul style="font-weight: 400;"> <li>2-year Associates or 4-year bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent years of experience</li> </ul> <p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul style="font-weight: 400;"> <li>Prior Customer Support or Customer Success experience</li> <li>Prior project or business development experience</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Ability to organize, break down, and clearly articulate complex thoughts and ideas</li> <li>Enjoys circumstances where the solution isn&rsquo;t always obvious and gains satisfaction in helping others</li> <li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li> <li>Love of a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Sandler Sales process trained</li> </ul> <p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong><u>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS</u></strong></p> <ul style="font-weight: 400;"> <li>Must be detail oriented</li> <li>Must have the ability to multi-task</li> <li>Must have excellent customer service skills</li> <li>Must have a high sense of urgency</li> <li>Must be highly&nbsp; motivated to achieve</li> <li>Must have strong mechanical aptitude</li> <li>Must be a self-starter, with ability to work well as part of a team and independently</li> <li>Must have the ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals</li> <li>Must have the ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance</li> <li>Must possess and maintain an exceptional work ethic, uphold company values, and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others</li> <li>Must project a professional and polished image that inspires confidence and trust</li> </ul> <p style="font-weight: 400;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong><u>WORKING CONDITIIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORTS</u></strong></p> <ul style="font-weight: 400;"> <li>Work requires local and occasional out-of-town travel to job sites and customer locations.</li> <li>Work involves moderate exposure to elements, such as hot/cold temperatures, dirt, dust, and/or loud noises.</li> <li>Work environment involves some exposure to construction-related hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.</li> <li>Light physical effort.
