Full-Time

Overview: This position requires managing the pre-construction, design, execution, and close out of multiple projects in accordance with company objectives and goals.&nbsp; Duties include but are not limited to engineering management, conceptual estimating, pricing change orders, multi-trade project scheduling, short-term scheduling, booking change orders in internal cost analysis system, procurement of equipment, RFIs, submittals, managing field labor, field coordination, subcontractor management, material take off and interacting with the General Contractor&rsquo;s and Owner&rsquo;s project teams to successfully execute construction projects and to support the acquisition of additional work.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Lead a team of field crews to deliver results focused on safety, quality, and productivity</li> <li>Develop and maintain relationships with customers</li> <li>Mentor and grow other professionals</li> <li>Communicate with general contractors, architects, engineers, and owners</li> <li>Involvement in strategic planning and execution</li> <li>Ensure budget compliance through scheduling and cost management</li> <li>Lead and promote safety through best practices</li> <li>Sales from conceptual budgets through final award</li> <li>Risk mitigation efforts through contract review and negotiation</li> <li>Manage material, equipment, tools, information, and subcontractors</li> <li>Material, equipment, and subcontractor procurement</li> <li>Positive cash flow through timely invoicing and collections</li> <li>Support customers with startup, commissioning, and owner training</li> <li>Market and promote the entire company through our Fundamental Behaviors</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong><u>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>A degree in Engineering or Building Construction or a HS diploma with at least 5 years of construction supervisory experience in the mechanical trades.</li> <li>At least 3-5 years of experience in managing mechanical commercial construction projects</li> <li>Experience and knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing systems</li> <li>Proficient with Job Cost software, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;<strong>&nbsp;<u>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND CHARACTERISTICS</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong leadership skills, self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to respond quickly to changing customer demands.</li> <li>Willingness to sacrifice short-term gain for long-term results and accomplishment</li> <li>Excellent customer service</li> <li>Genuine passion for building and construction</li> <li>Ability to work well as part of a team</li> <li>Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving ability</li> <li>Attention to detail while completing multiple or repetitive tasks with a high sense of urgency</li> <li>Take on additional responsibilities as needed while managing priorities</li> <li>Professional and polished image that inspires confidence and trust</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Work involves moderate exposure to elements, such as hot/cold temperatures, dirt, dust, and/or loud noises.</li> <li>Work environment involves some exposure to construction-related hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.</li> <li>Light physical effort.
