This position will be required to program, test, validate, maintain and manage building HVAC, lighting and monitoring systems and components. Typical components consist of Relays, Transducers, Sensors, Actuators, Automatic Dampers, Automatic Valves, Power Supplies, and so forth. Technicians should have a working knowledge of various system types including Pneumatic, Electric/Electronic, Digital and Analog, and Direct Digital Control (DDC). Technicians are expected to respond to system service outages, operational failures or calibration adjustments, scheduling issues etc. </span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <!--/.button-navigation--></div>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Install and program Building Automation systems.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Create and/or install custom graphics</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Troubleshoot system failures and recommend and/or carry out corrective measures.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Perform periodic maintenance and calibration on system components.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Set-up and maintain system trend logs needed for diagnostics and repairs.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Performing system database maintenance and back-up/restore functions as needed.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Thorough working knowledge of sensor troubleshooting utilizing standard hand tools, DVM, and digital metering or calibration equipment (digital thermometer, hygrometer, etc.)</span>&nbsp;</li> </ul>
